I know longer have an Android tablet but thinking of getting one this fall as the new ones are introduced. Lots of changes since 4 years ago when I used one.

Im new to the forum and was wondering how to get into any of the topics... I'm very confused as to why i cant. 

I have just inherited a panimage r79rt2w5 tablet and there's a rom on here i really want to try out. 
every site ive looked at points me in this direction only to have a road block just before i'm there.

If any one can tell me how and why I cant access it, it would be much appreciated.... 
thats an understatement... it would REALLY make my day.

Other than having a driod phone (LG G3 currently) I am no guru to droid.
I am a long time Linux user though. Currently most of my workstations run Mint.

Hello everyone.  Bought a few mid7014's last year.  They don't work well at all.  My kids found them useless as well.  I have rooted them and found this site from xda.  I am trying to put some new roms on these and give them to my niece and nephew this week for our early christmas.

I work for a server hosting company, bought a tablet off of a coworker that bought it from amazon a couple of years ago (well bought a bunch then never used them) so he sold me one. Unforunately, still has the factory firmware and no luck finding a rom or firmware for it. So, I get pointed to here from all the google searches.

It is a Panimage Media tablet R79RT2W5

I own a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and have had many of them with the latest Android OS.

Looking to get an update for this tablet so it can use google play.

Frustrating unit. Tyring to get it to work, like google play, etc.

I'm noserave and I'm new to the site, just decided to do something with the tablets I have. Been reading up on moding my pandigital e-reader but theres not a lot of info out there. Rooted my supernova, havent touched the transformer. Hoping to read on how to do cool stuff and rom my tablets. I tried reading the pandigital section but wasnt allowed access   Havent installed clockwork and no go on the pre-android-cellphone-ownage.

Just found this forum amd as i am quite new to the whole rooting thing . I know a few things . This tablet was equipped with 4 g gsm simcard capable and wcdma as well . The issue i have is what is up with the hot spot on this thing. It was not shipped with the app and when i installed the app from play store it tells me that the signal is picked up by the othe devices when i start the app that but when it boils down to it it connects and tells me that the issue is either my interner signal is too slow. Or that there is and i.p. config issue . I know this thing is capable of sharing its internet wirelessly but i cannot seem to get it to work . Any one if ypu could help i would appreciate it thankyou . By the way if o didnt say it allready . Hi everyone

Hi! My name is Jay and I have a galaxy s5 that just got upgraded to lollipop last week and a Coby Kyros MID1126. I love the s5 and lollipop alike. I'm new to tinkering around with this level of technology seeing the last Windows os that I used was Windows 98 thought I was a networking specialist when that was relevant. I found out about this site from an xda link and I'm really excited to get the information and hopefully one day be able to share some info with all of you. I learn fast so hopefully I can keep up with you. I'm really hoping to upgrade my Kyros to a much better version of Android and incorporate Google play. Any help or suggestions would be more than appreciated! And to everyone, thanks in advance!

Eric here, found this site looking for device drivers for a tablet.
My son has a junky SuperSonic 9.7 inch android tablet with vers 4.2.2
I alson have a sony xperia ion with 4.0.4.
I have not rooted but been looking into how to go about the process.
